Premium gifts

The newest iPhone

To gift only the best… at a very high price. However, the video and photo quality of the iPhone is now indisputable. If you can afford it and a new phone is needed, go ahead! For many people, the iPhone is now the only camera they use (very convenient, very small, always with you), so it is then easier to spend that much on it.

If the iPhone 12 is definitely too expensive, the iPhone 11 Pro remains a great alternative for super high quality pictures and 4K videos. Plus, it’s waterproof!

A drone MavicPro 2 for the most adventurous

François gifted me a DJI MavicPro 2 drone about 2 years ago for my birthday, and to be honest it was one of my favourite gift ever. I was not expecting it at all and I would have never bought it myself because I did not think I was capable of flying it. But I am! And this is a wonderful -but very expensive- gift idea for any travel addict, especially if they are fond of photography and videos.

The quality is outstanding and the drone is not hard to drive. There are many securities you can set to avoid crashing it (even if it does happen, but you can be insured by DJI for it). The Mavic Pro 2 will give you a professional quality for all your pictures in videos. It is also something great to use at weddings or any special occasions.

An iPad Pro for the digital nomads

The iPad pro can often replaces a computer, and what is more convenient – and lighter – than that for a digital nomad ?
Photo editing, design, video making and even some new jobs such as Product Manager can be done almost exclusively from the iPad pro, if you have the right tools with it. So, for a few weeks, no need of a computer, and it fits much more than a MacBook Pro in your backpack.

The really needed accessories to add to the iPad in our opinion ? AirPods and Keyboard case.

The DJI Osmo Pocket for any travel lovers

DJI does drones, but not only. They also have become a reference in other kind of videos. A perfect example – and a perfect gift – is the DJI Osmo Pocket, a very small camera, offering a 4K video with a great stabilizer for a very decent price. That is what promises DJI and definitely what you get with the Osmo pocket.

Very useful gift

An Oasis kindle for the book lovers

Not any Oasis kindle, but the best one on the market right now. The big plus ? It’s waterproof, and this really is very convenient for any traveller. Remember how many times you ended up drenched by the rain -and your backpack too- while traveling around? Take your kindle anywhere and don’t worry about anything. The best part? You can now read your books in the jacuzzi.

The Oasis kindle is also very light (188 grams) and thin, adjusts its warm light and you can pair it with your Audible account, to switch from reading to listening very easily.

The Oasis kindle is the perfect gift for any book lover who would love to travel anywhere with his books in his carry-on luggage.

AirPods Pro for hussle-free listening

At first, I was not convinced at all by the AirPods. I found them disproportionately pricey and very show off.
But then, two things happened: I started to work from home with my nephews during the coronavirus lockdown, and I started to do yoga daily, with videos, at home.

Now, I cannot spend one day without my AirPods. Yoga, pilates and any online classes cannot be done without them (and what a relief from François, who does not need to hear my coach’s voice early in the morning!), I can listen to podcasts while cooking or cleaning the house, and I could even not listen to anything, just using the noise blocker when working from home, with 8 people including kids being noisy all around me.

The plus? They are very light and do not need much space in a backpack, or even in a handbag!
